The Halloween Hermit Crab is a peaceful scavenger which will eat any leftover food that reaches the bottom of the aquarium. They also eat hair algae and cyanobacteria. They are considered reef safe but will knock over unsecured corals as they lumber around the tank.
They attain a larger size and will need to be provided with empty shells to move into as they grow. We sell them in the 3/4″ – 1.5″ size range.
